We continuously refine our technology.
HARIO began by manufacturing and selling laboratory glassware. Since then, we’ve been combining science and technology to produce a wide range of distinctive home products and enhance our “Made in Japan" quality. Learn more about our unique history.
Our only factory is in Japan.
Our factory has no smokestacks because we melt raw materials with electricity. This unique technology — the first of its kind in Japan — is cleaner and safer for the surrounding community and workers in the factory. Learn more about where HARIO glass was born.
Recycling of heatproof glass
We do our best to protect natural resources.
HARIO heatproof glass is made from 100% natural, earth-friendly material. All glass left over from the production process is recycled into raw material or used to make glass wool insulation if printed on. By carefully protecting natural resources, we are helping to realize a sustainable society.
